This museum celebrates history of this region through its art and craft. It is located 3 km from Palkiya Haveli.

Kota Doria Shopping an important thing to do. It is for every tourist as it not only forms part of their souvenir list, but also take them on a journey of saree drapping, which Kota Doria has always been on the top because of its lightweight fabric and it is epitome of elegance and grace.

Bundi Fort (Distance from Palkiya Haveli 38 Kms.)

Taragarh Fort at 500 ft., dominates Bund city. This Fort was completed by Rao Bar Sing in 1354 A.D. Since there was no source of water available on this hill four massive water tanks were hewn out of the solid rock to retain the monsoon waters for their use. All rain water on the Fort was diverted to these four tanks along the channels provided through a simple filter system.

Badoli Temples (Distance from Palkiya Haveli 45 Kms.)

45 km southwest of Kota : - about an hours drive from Kota. The road to these beautiful ninth to twelfth century temples runs parallel to the river Chambal and enters the the Darah Wild Life Sanctuary through a lovely thickly wooded ghat (hill) section. Badoli Temples are in a grove and have some of the best temple architecture that can be seen in Rajasthan. Total of 73 Temples were said to have been built here between 9th and12th C. in Nagar Style by the Rulers of Bhensrodgadh.

Kaithoon Village (Distance from Palkiya Haveli 15 Kms.)

Kaithoon Village - Famous for Doria Saris Pure Kota Doria saris can be found only in Kota, but the people who originally weaved them were not from here. They were brought to Kota in 17th century by the Rao of Kota who was in Mysore with his army when he came across the weavers of the doria cloth. This cotton and silk fabric intricately woven with colourful floral motifs caught his fancy. He brought its makers to Kota. Interestingly doria weaving has now diedout in Mysore and is flourishing only in Kota.

Abhera Mahal (Distance from Palkiya Haveli 10 Kms.)

Abheda Mahal situated near the Chambal river of Kota of Rajasthan. The palace was established by Ummed Maharaj, the palace has a great history and many different stories behind its establishment. The palace has a pond which houses beautiful lotus flowers, turtles. It is said that earlier the pond used house many crocodiles, also these crocodiles we’re named and were treated as total pets. The palace has great architecture and perfect place for picnic and for photography. The palace image falls on the water in the pond reflects its image which is a great view in the day.

Sun Temple JhalraPatan (Distance from Palkiya Haveli 90 Kms.)

The small town is popularly referred to as the "City of bells”. An entire township resides within the confines of a wall, that was built to protect the trade caravans from pindaries.
A magnificent 10th century Surya Temple (Padam Nabh Temple) is the major attraction of the city. The temple has some splendid sculptures as well as, nicely preserved idols of Surya.

Chandrawati Jain temple (Distance from Palkiya Haveli 92 Kms.)

Chandrawati Jain temple is a Jain tirth located in the Chandrawati village near Abu Road on the bank of the West Banas River in the Indian state of Rajasthan.
This place is believed to be birthplace of Chandraprabha, the 8th Thirthankara, of Jainism.

Gagaron fort (Distance from Palkiya Haveli 98 Kms.)

A very impressive Fort of Gagaron, was built over several centuries (8th to 18th centuries AD) and witnessed many great battles.
It is surrounded by the waters of the Ahu and Kalishindh river’s on three sides."

Shergarh Fort & Wild Life Sanctuary (Distance from Palkiya Haveli 125 Kms.)

The impregnable fort of Shergarh has been built on the bank of Parban River.
It is situated in Baran district and can be easily approached from Kota. It has undulating grassland which is ideal for Great Indian bustard, Chinkara and black buck. Jeep Safari takes you in the enclosed area, where one gets to see the herds of Chinkara and Black bucks, Indian Fox and a large variety of migratory birds.

Chandramaulishwar Temple Chandrabhaga (Distance from Palkiya Haveli 95 Kms.)

The history of the temple goes back to early 19th century when two idols were discovered from the land of Ganga Ram Luhar and Ratan, The idols were placed in the custody of Maharaj Jhala Jalim Singhj of Jhalawar. Later in the year 1806 CE Jhala Jalim Singhji got this temple constructed on the bank of Gomali Sagar lake and the idols were enshrined here. His forefathers had been the followers of Pusthimarg.
